To get the report of used raw materials and adjust the raw material consumption in maintaining the stock select menu option Raw Material Consumption Chart under main menu heading Inventory Control . This report consists of code number of raw materials, material description, cost price, opening stock, stock consumption, generated scrap, closing stock, stock value, projected stock and projected stock value.
You can see the report according to different selection criteria. To see the report of all products click an option button List All .
You can prepare this report for Group, Locations or Suppliers. To select the particular group click on arrow marked drop down list box of groups, select name of group with the mouse and click on an option Group . The report for selected group will be displayed.
Similarly, To select the location of products click on arrow marked drop down list box of locations. select the desired location from list and click on an option button Location . The report for selected location will be displayed.
To see the particular supplier's Raw Material Consumption report click an option button Supplier . Type the name of supplier in presented text box or press command button Find . Supplier Selection List will be displayed. You can select supplier name from this list easily. Now, press Ok , the Raw Materials Consumption report for that supplier will be displayed.
If you want to maintain your products stock and adjust the raw material consumption and scrap generated then you can do by using command button Rework. Before using this button enter the Projected Stock quantities of the raw materials in the column of Projected Stock, Projected Value will be calculated automatically. Now, press command button Rework, a window with the current stock, projected stock and the name of the products (raw material is used for the production of these products). If you are sure to adjust the consumption of raw materials then again press command button Rework. A message will be displayed to alert you about the changes after Rework in Standard Product Costing table. If you press Yes , again it will give the message about changes in material issue and receipt transactions. If you press Yes then the processing will be started and it may take time according to the number of materials. After finishing the process the values in standard product costing table will be changed with the new values according to projected stock and material issue and receipt notes will be made again.
To close the report press command button Close .
